Roanie

2004 Sabino red roan Curly Filly
Well broke to ride, does tricks (pedestal, lays down, sits, whip broke). And how do you like her 2010 stud colt by Medieval Charger. He's Curly too. Roanie is 2 for 2 now on producing Paint colored curly haird colts.

Roanie is sired by Bonnie Prince Alder, whose offspring are both naturally tame and trainable. Her dam, an old registered leopard Appaloosa, had Roanie as her last offspring. Roanie is much the approach horse, rather than avoid. Late in her yearling year, she received several sessions of obedience training. She was a willing trainee and soon she was mounting the pedestal. In her two year old year, she kept learning--more tricks, trail riding, ring riding, remote control training. As a three year old, Roanie rode smooth, straight and settled. She became the dream Curly filly, beautiful color, waves galore, well broke to ride, trick horse par excellance and an expectant mother for 2008. After foaling a high colored overo paint colt, she split her duties between being a trail horse and mother. As a five year old she was shown at the Minnesota State Fair in the Aisle Of Breeds  representing the Curly Horse Breed. She participated in the State Fair Parade, was ridden in the Coliseum and Coverall and of course was gauked at by thougsands who mauled her body with their curious hands.
